The last two years have been very hard and in spite of the love for photography I hadn’t other choice but to holding on photographing or even bloging. Who knows if in this “new year”, the 37th, I can make some of what I love.

I really love photography, I started with a Cosina when I was eighteen (only got money to buy one at that age). Unfortunately someone stole it from me some five years ago. I have some film cameras like the Lubitel 166B, a Bronica ETRS and a Nikon F20. I love developing film, specially the 120. I used a lot of Rolley but the Fuji 100 Acros is the best B&W film that I have ever developed and worked with (yes, including Ilford, Kodak, etc…).

In Digital I work with a Nikon D700 and the lens I love most are the Nikon 85mm f/1.8 and the Nikon 35mm f/2 . Unfortunately I don’t have much time to develop film so… my only photo trips are made in digital but, long live film photography because we can really learn with that and the quality of a film photography is like Fernando Pessoa’s poetry “Valeu a pena? Tudo vale a pena se a alma não é pequena”
